Have you ever thought about turning that old suitcase into a stunning decor piece? We have all the materials you'll need . . . with some paint, texture medium, metallic waxes or pigments, whimsical transfers or beautiful decoupage papers, etc. you can create a unique statement piece that reflects your personal style. The possibilities are endless! Whether you want to add a pop of color to your living space or create a nostalgic accent for your home, this project is perfect for all DIY enthusiasts.
 
Cost is for Class Fee only 30.00 (plus tax). Materials are extra and will depend on each individual.
 
Our first class will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to about 9:00 pm, and will involve some prep and planning of your design. You will have the opportunity to purchase paint, transfers, decoupage prints, and other products you might want for your piece. Please be sure to thoroughly clean your suitcase before bringing it to the initial class. I do have a few vintage suitcases available to purchase if you do not have one. Please contact me (Dianna) ahead of time - via email at mabelandmarthas@gmail.com, or phone 306-569-9882; so you can pick one out and have it ready for the initial class.
Sunday class will start at 10:00 am and run until 5:00 pm if need be, so please bring something for your lunch break.
REQUIREMENTS: You must have some experience with using paints and be comfortable working with the products you choose for your project. I am happy to help with ideas and instruction, but you will be the painter/creator. NOTE: You find lots of ideas on Pinterest to help spark your imagination and creative skills - search 'vintage suitcase decor'.
